With the development of large-scale, mechanization and automation of mines, the extensible belt conveyor is continuous transportation equipment with cotton canvas, nylon, polyester canvas and wire rope conveyor as traction loading components. It is mainly used for the crossheading transportation of the comprehensive mechanized coal face, and also for the crossheading and tunneling transportation of the general coal face. The conveyor is equipped with a belt storage device. With the continuous development of the face, the length of the crossheading or the tunneling changes, in order to meet the needs of shortening or elongation.
