Krispy Kreme Doughnuts sets opening date for its Temecula shop
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts will open its Temecula shop on Tuesday, Aug. 8, according to a news release.
The shop is at 40575 Winchester Road, near Promenade Temecula. It was formerly the site of a Yellow Basket drive-thru that closed in January.
Krispy Kreme shopes are famed for their “hot lights,” glowing signs that are turned on when the brand’s signature Original Glazed doughnuts are being turned out on conveyor belts.
The chain also sells a variety of other doughnuts as well as hot and cold beverages.
To celebrate its grand opening week, Krispy Kreme will randomly award 10 dozen guests a ticket worth a dozen free Original Glazed doughnuts every month for a year, the news release said.
Although the brand is sold in many grocery stores, this is Temecula’s first Krispy Kreme location, the news release said. But Temecula had a Krispy Kreme store that closed in 2006.
Other Inland locations include Menifee, Ontario and Victorville.
Hours will be 5:30 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.
